Environmental impact assessment refers to the analysis, prediction and assessment of the environmental impacts that may be caused after the implementation of planning and construction projects, the proposal of countermeasures and measures to prevent or reduce adverse environmental impacts, and the methods and systems for tracking and monitoring.
The purpose is to implement sustainable development strategies, prevent adverse effects on the environment after the implementation of planning and construction projects, and promote the coordinated development of economy, society and the environment.

Environmental supervision
Environmental supervision refers to the environmental supervision and management of the construction of the project by the environmental supervision agency, which is entrusted by the project construction unit, based on the environmental impact assessment documents, the approval of the environmental protection administrative department, and the environmental supervision contract.
The fundamental purpose of environmental supervision:
1. Realize the environmental protection goals of construction projects;
2. Implement environmental protection facilities and measures to prevent environmental pollution and ecological damage;
3. Meet the environmental protection acceptance requirements of the completion of the project.
Environmental supervision units require inspections of pollution prevention and ecological protection at the construction site to urge the implementation of various environmental protection measures. If construction is not performed in accordance with the relevant environmental protection requirements, the construction unit shall be ordered to make corrections within a time limit, and if ecological damage is caused, remedial measures or restoration shall be taken.
Environmental acceptance
Completion environmental protection acceptance of a construction project means that after the completion of the construction project, the environmental protection administrative department shall comply with the "[Edit this paragraph] Construction Project Completion Environmental Protection Acceptance Management Measures", based on environmental protection acceptance monitoring or investigation results, and pass on-site inspections, etc. Means, an activity to assess whether the construction project meets environmental protection requirements.
The scope of environmental protection acceptance of the completed construction project includes:
1. Various environmental protection facilities related to the construction project, including the projects, equipment, devices and monitoring methods built or equipped to prevent pollution and protect the environment, and various ecological protection facilities;
2. The environmental impact report (form) or the environmental impact registration form and the relevant project design documents stipulate other environmental protection measures to be taken.
