German Packaging Recycling (verpackG)

1. What is verpackG?

This is a new packaging law introduced in Germany in 2019. All e-commerce companies are required to register packaging and bear the cost of recycling packaging for products sold.

2. What is the purpose of packaging Recycling (verpackG)?

Based on environmental protection, the German government aims to reduce waste pollution, promote the use of recyclable packaging and recycled materials, and how packaging materials are recycled. All manufacturers and/or retailers, who are the first to bring packaging products (including fillings) to the German market and end up with consumer waste, are obliged to register and receive Ve ying ￡· AC filter V and Ve ying ￡· AC filter G

3. Penalty measures for Packaging Recycling (verpackG)

Companies selling goods in the German market could face fines of up to 50,000 euros and sales bans if they fail to comply with the country's latest packaging laws.
